I am a recent graduate of Calvin College with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. My concentration was in electrical and computer and I am currently looking for a career in that field.
I have an interest in electrical/computer hardware and would love to have a job that offers some kind of world travel. Some other interests of mine are surfing the Internet for new technology news, using web apps, creating a family tree, and coin collecting.
It is my hope that this blog gives some perspective into who I am through the posts I make. WordPress looks sweet so this hopefully can go real well.

Hi Phil, Interesting to read your comments about President Obama and that you are putting togethar a family tree. I married a Margaretha Overbeeke now Margaret Magarey and we were looking for the address of a grandson of George Overbeeke( Goerge moved to South Africa) who lives in New Zealand. My father in law Henri (born 1916 and died about 8 years ago) and his wife Hanni migrated from Holland ( born in Belgium) in 1961 and raised a family in South Australia. They had 2 boys and 2 girls and have 8 grand children and 4 great grand children. Where did your branch of the family come from? Hope things are going well for you. Regards John Magarey

First, this is pretty amazing that you have contacted me all the way from Australia. Well I assume you are still there. As for your question: My father emigrated to the US from Tholen, in the province of Zeeland, Netherlands. But ultimately the surname comes from somewhere in Belgium. Are you doing some genealogy of your own? I have some relatively good sources I can send if you wish. As it turns out I would love to emigrate to Australia or New Zealand. Is there any good opportunities out there? Regards.
